The Uniontown Association is hosting the Astoria Memorial Service on Monday, May 27th at 3:00pm at the Astoria Maritime Memorial Park, located on the Riverwalk under the Astoria/Megler Bridge, near the foot of Bay St. This service honors our Maritime community and our veterans. All 1330 names of loved ones whose names are on the wall will be read. This year the service is dedicated to Harriet Antoniou and Richard Quashnick. We are pleased to announce that thanks to a sponsorship by Steve and Laurie Drage, a professional sound system will be in place this year. Cookies and coffee will be served following the service. You are welcome to bring flowers to throw in the river as your loved one’s name is called.
