Clatsop County sees a dozen new cases this week so far, as county goes to Moderate Risk Friday.

The Clatsop County Public Health Department on Wednesday reported seven new COVID-19 cases.

Patients include two females and five males, ranging in age from under 10 years old, to their 80s. All seven are recovering at home.

With twelve cases announced earlier this week, this brings the county total for the week to 19 new cases as of Wednesday.

The county has recorded a total of 823 COVID-19 cases since March 2020. Eighteen individuals have been hospitalized. Seven individuals have died.

This Friday, March 26, Clatsop County will move from its current Lower Risk category to the Moderate Risk category for state mandated COVID-19 business and social guidelines. This means restaurants can still operate at 50 percent capacity but with a total maximum customer limit. See a complete list of guidance and restrictions on the Clatsop County website.
