North Coast Land Conservancy’s July volunteer stewardship work party will take place at Circle Creek Habitat Reserve, just south of Seaside.
Using our tried-and-true pull, pile and stomp method, we will be removing policeman’s helmet (also known as jewelweed or Himalayan balsam), a non-native invasive plant species that thrives in moist areas and riparian zones, threatening native plants.
The event takes place from 10:00am to 1:00pm Wednesday, July 22nd. We can use volunteers to help us with this important stewardship work on a beautiful habitat reserve! All are welcome to join this family friendly event, but registration is required: http://nclctrust.org/event/pull-pile-and-stomp-policemans-helmet-2
