Continuing on Wednesday, June 10th the Seaside Public Library will be hosting the fifth of a six-session series of Neigong classes moderated by local River Gibeaut. The classes are scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month through June with each 90-minute class starting at 5:00pm.
Neigong is not to be confused with Qigong. Qigong moves the body in slow rhythmic movements to strengthen and nourish us physically. Neigong moves awareness inside the body through kinesthetic sensing and creative visualization to influence the energy fields of the body, which in turn helps nourish the physical body.
In these classes you will learn to generate and feel chi — your own life energy — and begin to sense your energy body directly. You will also learn accessible Neigong techniques for easing pain and tension.
No experience necessary. Come curious.
