The Featured Pet of the Week for the Clatsop County Animal Shelter is CHAPLIN, a 3.5 year old male pit mix. He is playful, affectionate and full of personality. He thrives on spending quality time with his favorite people and will happily be your loyal sidekick. He enjoys getting out for walks, however he needs an experienced handler who can manage is strength and continue his leash training.
Chaplin would do best as the only dog in the house. He has previously lived with cats and kids but younger children can overwhelm him. A home with older kids would be best.
He needs a calm structured home with a steady routine. He is crate trained and up to date on all his vaccines.
