NWVA’s March concert will be our annual performance of music from the Southern Hemisphere. Join us for an afternoon of harmony, rhythm, and flavor – an invitation to experience the beauty and warmth of Brazil through music, food and celebration.
The concert will feature stunning choral works including Bendita Sabedoria by Villa-Lobos, and works by Carlos Alberto Pinto Fonseca, Muie Rendera, a setting of folk tunes and Jubiabá, an evocation of a candomblé ceremony.
The celebration continues with food from Santa Terra Bakery, coffee from Nossa Família Coffee and the BrazilTones performing favorite Brazilian tunes. The reception is produced by GINGA Events.
General admission is $35 ($15 for students).
