To celebrate their one year anniversary Pier 11 Studio presents Art Movie Night which will be every first Friday evening of the month beginning Feburary 6, 2026. Art Movie Night will feature documentaries about artists curated by members of the creative community. Bring a chair, a beverage of choice and enjoy!
Our first Art Movie night will feature the film “Beyond the Visible” about artist Hilma af Klint; a Swedish artist and mystic whose paintings are considered to be among the first major abstract works in Western art history. A considerable body of her work predates the first purely abstract compositions by Kandinsky, Malevich, and Mondrian.
