Astoria Uppertown Business Association Presents the 4th Annual Astoria Christmas Trolley, Storytime Theater & Holiday Market.
Saturday & Sunday December 20th & 21st, 2025, from 10:00am to 7:00pm at the Barbey Maritime Center (Trolley Depot) → Pier 39 North Pole.
ASTORIA, OR — The Astoria Uppertown Business Association (AUBA) invites the community to celebrate the season at the 4th Annual Astoria Christmas Trolley, Storytime Theater & Holiday Market, taking place Saturday & Sunday December 20th & 21st, 2025, from 10:00am to 7:00pm. This festive waterfront tradition brings together families, visitors, and local businesses for two full days of holiday magic.
Guests will begin at the Barbey Maritime Center, located at 2042 Marine Drive, where joyful activities welcome all ages. Visitors can enjoy a cozy movie theater, a gingerbread house craft station, a greeting card table, letters to Santa, a community puzzle, an electric train display, and a professional family holiday photo (select times) before boarding the trolley for the next part of their adventure.
This year, the Barbey Center also features a special pop-up from Look Around Books, a holiday book nook offering a curated selection of seasonal reads. They will be selling copies of the exact edition of The Night Before Christmas used in the Storytime Theater performance at Pier 39 where Erin & the Merry Makers bring the classic tale to life (select times) complete with sound effects and props, and lead lively sing-alongs, passing out instruments for kids in the audience to play along.
From the Barbey Center, guests may board the historic Old 300 Trolley for a delightful ride to the Pier 39 North Pole where they’ll discover artisan vendors, festive foods, Whoville Bakery & Cocoa, The Grinch wandering about for photos (select times), Coloring Station, Santa’s Hotline Phone Booth, Storytime Theater, Pier 39 businesses, and the NEW Gingerbread Emporium filled with holiday toys, sweets, and 2025 keepsake trolley ornament and stickers.
Event entry is FREE.
All activities at the Barbey Center and Pier 39 are free and open to the public.
Professional 4×6 photos in frames are $5 each.
Trolley Tickets are only required if you plan to ride the trolley.
Arrive 15 minutes before departure time.

Guests are encouraged to wander freely around the Trolley Depot and Pier 39 at their own pace, enjoying the lights, food, and holiday experiences offered throughout both locations. While the initial boarding time to Pier 39 is scheduled, riders are welcome to return to the Barbey Center on any trolley departing from the Pier 39 North Pole.

Barbey Maritime Center (Trolley Depot) is located at 2042 Marine Drive, the brick building east of the Maritime Museum.
Pier 39 (North Pole) is located at 100 39th Street. Extra parking is available at the Hampton Inn for those driving. The Event ends at 7:00pm, but Pier 39 stays open for the public to enjoy until 10:00pm.
