DESCRIPTION:Join us for a preschool open house! Wave of the Future is a Mon
 tessori Arts &amp\; Ecology school in Seaview\, Washington serving childre
 n ages 2.5 to 6 years. We are enrolling for full time and part time care n
 ow!\nWe nurture the development of the whole child by cultivating independ
 ent action\, critical thought\, and foundational skills. Caring for the en
 vironment\, empathy for others\, social ease and confidence are integral t
 o Montessori education.\nArts education and appreciation are both integrat
 ed in our approach in the classroom and beyond. In conjunction with the So
 u’wester Artist Residency program\, we regularly collaborate with visiti
 ng artists-in-residence and have the opportunity to explore new\, unique m
 aterials\, tools and processes. We have worked with ceramics\, movement\, 
 performance art\, natural dyes\, mural painting\, music\, songwriting.\nOu
 r nature based curriculum includes daily unstructured time during our wild
 erness walks\, a year round garden\, and ongoing seasonal ecological lesso
 ns incorporated into group projects and visits from local organizations.\n
 We accept two types of subsidies for eligible families\; Working Connectio
 ns Child Care (Washington Residents) and Military Child Care in Your Neigh
 borhood (Coast Card and other Military families)
