Without live venues to perform in for most of 2020, 3 LEG TORSO retreated to their creative workshop to write a play that reflects the despair and darkness all performers have been experiencing throughout the year — only to discover there is a positive outcome with a bit of hope and help from each other.
Recruited during the historic pandemic of 2020 by a mysterious and very large bearded man, the members of 3 Leg Torso are sent off to the Arctic territory of Northern Frostländ to labor as elves in his toy making workshop – which is really just a small cabin in the woods with scarcely any heat, frozen water pipes, and a tiny room full of tools that are useless for making toys…because they are iced solid to the work benches!
The only hope for saving the newly recruited elves from the chilling winter darkness and deep depression are the various musical instruments they were allowed to bring on their journey, and their eagerness to work together and create something so very special that even the coldest of Arctic cabins will radiate with warmth.
