DESCRIPTION:Members of the Sunset Empire Amateur Radio Club will be partici
 pating in the national amateur radio Field Day exercise on Saturday\, June
  28th from 11:00am to 6:00pm at the Astoria Column. Since 1933\, ham radio
  operators across North America have established temporary ham radio stati
 ons in public locations during Field Day to showcase the science and skill
  of amateur radio. This event is open to the public and all are encouraged
  to attend.
