SUMMARY:Small Lidded Jars Clay Play
DESCRIPTION:In this hands-on workshop\, students will create a medium-sized
  jar with a carefully fitted lid using slab construction techniques. The c
 lass will focus on building clean\, functional forms while learning strate
 gies for achieving a tight\, well-fitting lid. Once construction is comple
 te\, the surface becomes an open canvas—students are encouraged to explo
 re bold decoration and expressive surface design through carving\, texture
 \, and pattern.  Students will leave class with their jars ready for dryi
 ng and firing\; finished pieces will be available for pickup approximately
