DESCRIPTION:A special reception and art exhibit will honor the memory of As
 toria resident Pat Harrison a year after her death.\nHarrison\, a retired 
 newspaper journalist\, was a dedicated member of the urban sketcher moveme
 nt\, a global group of artists who sketch scenes where they live and trave
 l. She documented the activities of real people and nature in Astoria\, th
 roughout the Northwest and in Mexico and Europe.\nThe reception to honor P
 at is from 6:00pm to 7:30pm Friday May 29th at the Royal Nebeker Art Galle
 ry\, 1799 Lexington Ave.\, at the Clatsop Community College in Astoria. Th
 e reception is open to the public and will include a short\, informal prog
 ram beginning about 6:15pm. A collection of Pat's sketches and watercolors
  will be on display.
