SUMMARY:Qigong Class with River Gibeaut
DESCRIPTION:Starting on Wednesday\, April 8th the Seaside Public Library wi
 ll be hosting a six-session series of Qigong (aka Chi Kung) classes modera
 ted by local River Gibeaut. The classes are scheduled for the 2nd and 4th 
 Wednesday of the month from April through June with each 90-minute class s
 tarting at 5:00pm.\nGibeaut has studied\, practiced\, and taught qigong fo
 r more than 35 years. These classes will focus on simple\, easy-to-learn h
 ealing techniques that anyone can understand and practice. The methods are
  highly effective and can help students reduce their own pain as well as a
 ssist others who may be experiencing discomfort.\nUnlike practices such as
  tai chi\, these classes do not involve external movements. Instead\, the 
 techniques focus on guiding your awareness through the body to generate an
 d strengthen your energy—known as qi or qigong—and learning how to pro
 ject that energy for healing purposes.\nSpace is limited and sign-ups are
