Miss Ruby is a stunning 67 pound Siberian Husky mix. Her frosted red coat is lovely all in itself, but when you see her eyes—one ice blue, one golden brown—you won’t be able to look away! Which is just fine by her, because she wants all the attention she can get. Ruby loves being where her people are at. She does have expectations to be treated like a lady, though, so a home that has older kids who know how to respect boundaries would do her best.
Like most huskies, Ruby is a high-energy girl. She does amazing on a leash and will be only too happy to take you for a walk! She’ll also need a dog-ready yard to keep her secure—a high fence that can’t be dug under is a must. She also has a prey drive, so she doesn’t mix well with smaller animals, like small-breed dogs or cats. Other dogs her size though? Playtime, please!
