Adopt Sweet Senior Charlie!

Nothing is more precious than time spent with the ones you love, and after 13 years, sweet senior Charlie wants to spend every moment he has with someone who understands that.

This Scottish Terrier/Basset Hound mix is the sort of endearingly scraggly fella that just wants to spend evenings listening to some Sinatra in quiet company. That’s not to say he’s standoffish though. Charlie loves attention and will take all the pets and scritches you can give!
Charlie knows how to take care of himself in many ways—sleeps well, house trained, happy to use a doggie door and handle his own business—but one thing he doesn’t like is being left alone. He’s had enough of that through the years, thank you kindly, and he’ll make sure everyone knows about it… LOUDLY! Since he doesn’t like car rides either, Charlie will be happiest in a home with a fellow homebody.

Like anyone at his age, Charlie’s body doesn’t work as well as it used to. He has some hearing loss, which makes recall difficult, and finds stairs difficult. His mobility issues are helped by medication though, and he enjoys a nice, slow walk around the block.

No other dog needs love as much as a sweet senior like Charlie. Open your home to him, and he’ll love you devoutly through all his days. If you think you might be the right match, give us a call!
