DESCRIPTION:Join us for TNT (Thursday Night Talks) on November 20th as jour
 nalist and publisher Stephen Forrester discusses his new biography\, Richa
 rd Neuberger: Oregon Politics and the Making of a US Senator.\n\nThe book 
 explores Neuberger’s journey from groundbreaking journalist to Oregon’
 s first Democratic U.S. Senator in forty years. His legacy includes conser
 vation leadership\, a prolific writing career\, and a political partnershi
 p with his wife\, Maurine\, who succeeded him in the Senate after his deat
 h in 1960.\n\nForrester will share insights into Neuberger’s advocacy\, 
 his reporting on Nazi Germany\, and his influence on Oregon politics and f
 igures like Governor Tom McCall.\n\nThe event is free and held at Fort Geo
 rge Brewery’s Lovell Showroom (14th &amp\; Duane\, Astoria). Doors open 
 at 6:00pm\; talk begins at 7:00pm. Food and beverages available. Minors we
