DESCRIPTION:SYMPHONY PRESENTS CONCERTS IN JUNE\nThe North Oregon Coast Symp
 hony concludes its 2023-2024 season with two concerts in June. Titled “P
 oetic Palette”\, this series offers a variety of classical pieces from m
 ultiple composers. Concerto for Clarinet\, Viola and Orchestra by Max Bruc
 h features two soloists\, clarinetist Braden Payne (in his final performan
 ce with NOCS) and principal violist Betsey Ellerbroek. Other selections in
 clude Offenbach’s Overture to Orpheus in the Underworld\, Rossini’s Wi
 lliam Tell Overture\, Berlioz’s Hungarian March\, the symphonic poem In 
 The Forest (Miske) by Ciurlionis\, and Borodin’s In the Steppes of Centr
 al Asia.\nThe first concert will take place on Saturday\, June 8th\, at St
 . Catherine Episcopal Church (36335 N. Hwy 101\, Nehalem\, OR) beginning a
 t 3:00pm.\nThe second concert will be on Sunday\, June 9th\, at the Charle
 ne Larsen Center for the Performing Arts (588 16th St.\, Astoria\, OR) beg
 inning at 3:00pm.\nAdmission for both concerts will be: $10 Adults\, ages 
 18 and under FREE (children 12 and under with adult supervision).\nTickets
  will be available at the door only for the Nehalem concert. Tickets for t
 he Astoria concert will be sold online at LarsenCenter.org or by phone at 
 503-338-9132. Cookies and refreshments will be available at both concerts 
 during intermission\, and NOCS scholarships for graduating seniors will be
  announced.\nThis non-profit orchestra\, under the direction of conductor 
 Cory Pederson\, brings together musicians from the north Oregon and south 
 Washington coast to perform classical music for local audiences. For more
