SUMMARY:North Oregon Coast Symphony Presents 'Echoes of the New World'
DESCRIPTION:NORTH OREGON COAST SYMPHONY PRESENTS TWO  CONCERTS IN JUNE\nTh
 e North Oregon Coast Symphony finishes its 2024-2025 season with two conce
 rts in June titled “Echoes of the New World.” The programs will featur
 e Antonín Dvořák’s beloved Symphony #9\, also known as the New World 
 Symphony. Also featured will be two pieces spotlighting NOCS’s graduatin
 g high school seniors. Dylan Morrow will be the soloist for Max Bruch’s 
 Kol Nidrei for Cello and Orchestra\, and violinist Audrey Cereghino for So
 on Hee Newbold’s Invicta. Johann Strauss Jr.’s Emperor Waltz will roun
 d out this concert series. The first concert will take place on Saturday\,
  June 14th at the Nehalem Elementary School Gym (36300 8th St.\, Nehalem\,
  OR) beginning at 3:00pm. The second concert will be on Sunday\, June 15th
 \, at the Charlene Larsen Center for the Performing Arts (588 16th St.\, A
 storia\, OR) at 3:00pm. Admission for both concerts will be: $10 Adults\, 
 ages 18 and under FREE (children 12 and under with adult supervision). Tic
 kets will be available at the door for the Nehalem concert (cash and perso
 nal checks only.)\nTickets for the Astoria concert will be sold online at 
 charlenelarsencenter.org or by phone at 503-338-9132. Cookies and refreshm
 ents will be available at both concerts during intermission. This non-prof
 it orchestra\, under the direction of conductor Cory Pederson\, brings tog
 ether musicians from the north Oregon and south Washington coast to perfor
