SUMMARY:North Coast Symphonic Band: "Epics and Adventures"
DESCRIPTION:Join the North Coast Symphonic Band on an Epic Adventure.\nThe 
 program “Epics and Adventures” opens the 46th season for the North Coa
 st Symphonic Band Sunday\, November 9th\, at the Liberty Theatre.\nFrom Ro
 ssano Galante’s “Mt. Everest” to Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Sea So
 ngs\,” the concert features an array of music “to transport listeners 
 to fantastic places near and far\,” said conductor and musical director 
 Terry Dahlgren. The band will also take audiences on a road trip coast to 
 coast across the United States\, from “The Sidewalks of New York” to S
 an Francisco - where Tony Bennett left his heart\, in his signature song. 
 Get ready for a cinematic adventure for your ears!\nDoors open at 1:00pm a
 nd the Trolley Stop Combo will provide prelude music starting at 1:30pm.\n
 The band encourages audiences to purchase admission tickets in advance for
  $15 at the Liberty Theatre Box Office from 2:00pm to 5:30pm Wednesdays th
 rough Saturdays or online at www.libertyastoria.showare.com. Tickets purch
 ased the day of the concert are $20. High school students are admitted fre
 e\; admission for middle school students and younger is free with a paying
  adult. The Liberty is located on the corner of 12th and Commercial street
 s in Astoria.\nThe NCSB is a nonprofit community performing arts group com
 posed of local musicians of all ages who enjoy networking\, learning from 
 each other\, and maintaining their skill levels in a positive and supporti
 ve environment.\nThe NCSB performs four concerts per year at the historic 
 Liberty Theatre in Astoria. Upcoming performances will be February 1st\, A
 pril 12th\, and July 3rd 2026.\nRehearsals are from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Mo
 ndays at the Charlene Larsen Center for the Performing Arts (PAC) in Astor
 ia. The band is currently full\, but players come and go. Musicians intere
 sted in joining should get on the wait list by sending an email to Personn

 Potential new members should read music\, own their own instruments\, and
