Join KT Blue and Marilynn Blacketer, enthusiastic nature lovers, at Circle Creek Conservation Center this summer for a four-part nature journaling workshop series from 1:00pm to 3:00pm Thursdays, from July 23rd to August 13th. Together, rain or shine, we will be invited to walk, sit quietly in nature, journal, and share our experiences.
No journaling experience is necessary, and the sessions are free (registration is required)! Families are encouraged to participate. Basic supplies (including journal, colored pencils, and tote bag) will be provided for you to keep. Participants are encouraged to sign up for all four workshop sessions, but it is not required.
Outing Details: We will take a short walk to a spot where we will sit, observe and journal. No dogs allowed on site. Restrooms are available.
What to Bring: Sunscreen/protection, water and snacks. Please wear sturdy walking shoes and dress for the day’s weather. If you have a portable camp chair that you’d like to carry out to the journaling site, you’re welcome to bring that along. Mats will be provided for sitting on the ground.
