SUMMARY:Musical Storytime at the Seaside Library
DESCRIPTION:Seaside Library is the location for North Oregon Coast Symphony
 ’s presentation of Owl Babies\, a delightful children's classic on Wedne
 sday\, March 11th at 10:30am. The book is a gentle tale of three baby owls
  celebrating the bond between mothers and their children. With stunning il
 lustrations and a live accompaniment by North Oregon Coast Symphony musici
 an Shelley Loring on flute\, children and parents alike will enjoy the hap
 py ending. Children will learn more about the flute and piccolo as Loring 
 demonstrates her instruments. Children will be able to play a wind instrum
 ent after the story. This event is free and open to children ages 2-5 and 
 their adults.\nThe North Oregon Coast Symphony\, North Tillamook Library\,
  Seaside Library and Astoria Library have formed a partnership to bring li
 ve music and hands-on musical instrument experiences to the northern coast
  of Oregon. Funding for some of the instruments used in this outreach prog
 ram come from Clatsop County Cultural Coalition and Oregon Cultural Trust.
