SUMMARY:Musical Storytime at the North Tillamook Library
DESCRIPTION:Musical Storytime - Three Hens and a Peacock\nBring your presch
 ooler to hear a hilarious story at North Oregon Coast Symphony’s next fr
 ee Musical Storytime. In March the featured story will be Three Hens and a
  Peacock by Lester Laminack. This program is a hands-on musical activity. 
 The event will feature a live oboe accompaniment NOCS musician Christina P
 ickles. Children will hear about a peaceful farm where animals don’t com
 plain - until a peacock arrives. Be ready to laugh out loud as the tale un
 folds. With vibrant illustrations this book is sure to be a favorite for c
 hildren and adults. Afterwards preschoolers will learn more about the oboe
  and take part in making their own music with provided instruments.\nThe e
 vent will be offered at 10:30am Monday\, March 9th at the North Tillamook 
 Library in Manzanita.\nThe free readings for children ages 2 to 5 are plan
 ned monthly in partnership with the Astoria Library\, North Tillamook Libr
 ary in Manzanita\, and the Seaside Library. Funding for some of the instru
 ments used in this outreach program come from Clatsop County Cultural Coal
 ition and Oregon Cultural Trust. We thank both organizations for their gen
