SUMMARY:Mixing and Applying Underglazes w/National Visiting Artist\, Norah 
 Amstutz
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop\, participants will experiment with mixing und
 erglazes to attain their ideal hues. You’ll practice mixing a palette of
  colors\, then apply your custom glazes to either your own bisqueware or p
 re-made bisqueware tiles made by Norah to create unique\, expressive desig
 ns.\nNorah Amstutz is a ceramic artist based in South Bend\, IN. She recei
 ved her MFA from the University of Notre Dame. She serves as Treasurer for
  the Northern Indiana Clay Alliance and hosts a stop on the Michiana Potte
 ry Tour. She was featured as a 2024 Emerging Artist in Ceramics Monthly. H
 er practice involves both functional and narrative art pottery inspired by
  Art Nouveau and the post-modern human condition.
