SUMMARY:Library After Dark Author Talk
DESCRIPTION:The Warrenton Community Library is hosting author Peter Adams Y
 oung at "Library After Dark" on Saturday\, May 10th at 4:00pm.  Peter wil
 l share more about his writing process\, read excerpts from his works and 
 answer audience questions.\nPeter Adams Young is a native of Washington\, 
 DC. After graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 1967\, he ear
 ned his wings as a Naval Flight Officer and trained as a bombardier/naviga
 tor flying the US Navy A-6A Intruder all-weather attack aircraft. In the c
 ourse of three Yankee Station deployments\, he flew 97 combat missions ove
 r Laos and North Vietnam. Peter left the Navy in 1977 and began a career i
 n military technology design and development. He was also an adjunct profe
 ssor with the faculties of Chapman University and the University of San Di
 ego. Retirement in 2017 provided the opportunity to focus on completing On
 e Hundred Stingers\, his fact-based novel about the air war over the Ho Ch
 i Minh Trail. His latest novel\, "Another Death at Gettysburg" is the firs
 t in a series of contemporary mysteries set in and around Civil War battle
 fields. He is currently working on the second mystery in the series\, whic
 h will be published later this year. He and his wife Darlene retired to so
 uthwestern Washington state\, where he stays active in various veteran and
  authors groups.\nAuthor talk starts at 4:00pm\; refreshments and mingling
  at 5:00pm. Special thanks to Gaetano's Market and Deli for sponsoring the
