DESCRIPTION:Looking for a hands-on art experience? Join us at the Cannon Be
 ach Gallery on Friday\, March 20th\, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm for a Kurinuki 
 Pottery Workshop with sculptor Michelle Valigura.\nKurinuki is a Japanese 
 pottery technique and a zen practice\, where you carve and hollow a vessel
  from a single block of clay. In this class\, you’ll create your own uni
 que piece\, which will be fired and glazed. Pieces will be ready for pick-
 up in 4 to 6 weeks.\nThe class costs $55 for members\, $65 for non-members
 . Michelle brings years of experience\, from designing for stop-motion ani
 mation\, including Elf and The Simpsons\, to licensing characters for Disn
 eyland\, Kidrobot\, and Paradise Toys. She’s exhibited and taught worksh
 ops worldwide\, sharing her love of ceramics and creative play.\nReserve y
