Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum welcomes Jerry Bowman, Curator of the Northwest Carriage Museum in Raymond, Washington for a talk free to the public on June 4th at 1pm at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum in Ilwaco. The speaker event is in conjunction with the special exhibit “Grand Hotels of the North Beach Peninsula” which runs until July 9th.
Jerry is known across the country for his restoration and conservation work as well as for his knowledge of the old carriage trade. He is a gifted, humorous speaker and has entertained numerous audiences across the country with his stories and tales from the forgotten horse drawn era. The Northwest Carriage Museum in Raymond, Washington houses one of America’s finest collections of 19th century horse drawn vehicles and artifacts. They have graciously allowed CPHM the loan of one of their carriages for the special exhibit currently on view.
