Ham Radio License Test Review Class
This class will help you prepare to take the Technician Amateur Radio license exam. This is the first of the three levels of ham license. Amateur radio is part of emergency preparedness, but it is also a fun hobby for communicating all over the world without the use of cell phone towers or internet connections!
The class will be held in Astoria on Friday night December 8th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday December 9th, from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
This is a test preparation class. It is expected that participants will have some basic knowledge before attending. Suggested video and book lists are available on the SEARC website http://W7BU.club/training-testing.
This test review session is offered by the Sunset Empire Amateur Radio Club (SEARC). Participants do not need to be club members. The club offers a free one-year membership to new licensees who pass their exam at the end of this review session.
