SUMMARY:Glazing and Surface Decoration Techniques Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Glazing &amp\; Surface Decoration Techniques Workshop. June 15t
 h\, 2:00pm to 6:00pm. $80/person.\nStudents will learn about a variety of 
 ceramic surface decoration techniques. We will provide each student with a
  bisqued tumbler that they’ll decorate and glaze during the workshop\; s
 tudents are also welcome to bring a piece of their own bisqued work. We’
 ll go over masking and resistance methods\, overlapping glazes\, painting 
 with underglazes\, using stencils\, and techniques for getting clean preci
 se surface designs as well as more organic freehand designs. No previous c
 eramics experience is required\nBio: Charlotte is a ceramicist and educato
 r in Portland\, Oregon. Born and raised in Birmingham\, Alabama\, her work
  has always been influenced by Southern craft culture and early American c
 eramics. Ranging from functional tableware to sculpture\, all of her piece
