SUMMARY:Clatsop County Cultural Coalition Grants
DESCRIPTION:ASTORIA\, ORE.—The deadline is approaching for qualified nonp
 rofit organizations to submit their applications for a 2026 grant from the
  Clatsop County Cultural Coalition. Applications must be received electron
 ically by 5:00pm Friday\, October 31st. Awards—for projects that support
 \, maintain\, preserve and protect cultural programs in the arts\, heritag
 e and humanities in Clatsop County—will be announced in late December 20
 25. Checks will be presented at an award ceremony at Suomi Hall at 6:00pm 
 Thursday\, January 8th 2026. These grant awards are for activities occurri
 ng between January 1st\, 2026\, and December 31st\, 2026. Grant funds of u
 p to $2\,500 are available per project.\nOrganizations with 501(c)3 nonpro
 fit status that are registered with the Oregon Cultural Trust are eligible
  to apply for grants through the cultural coalition. Individuals also may 
 apply when sponsored by a nonprofit fiscal agent that is registered with t
 he Oregon Cultural Trust.\nThe Clatsop County Cultural Coalition receives 
 its funding from the Oregon Cultural Trust. In addition\, the coalition wa
 s awarded two grants of $5\,000 each from the Oregon Community Foundation 
 and the Roundhouse Foundation to re-grant in 2026. The Clatsop County Cult
 ural Coalition anticipates having nearly $24\,000 to award for 2026.\n\nIf

 ndex.html.\n\nAbout the Clatsop County Cultural Coalition Grants\nFunding 
 priorities for Clatsop County Cultural Coalition grants include:\n• Rais
 ing awareness of culture in the visual and performing arts\, heritage\, an
 d/ or humanities.\n• Supporting the preservation\, functionality\, and/o
 r sustained usage of physical facilities for visual and performing arts\, 
 heritage\, and/or humanities in Clatsop County.\n• Strengthening the ove
 rall health of existing nonprofit organizations\, schools\, individuals\, 
 or businesses related to visual and performing arts\, heritage\, and/or hu
 manities in Clatsop County.\n\nThe Clatsop County Cultural Coalition striv
 es to nurture culture in Clatsop County and promote the Oregon Cultural Tr
 ust. Allocating cultural trust funds in the form of grants is the Coalitio
 n’s primary function. Members represent diverse geographic locations and
  participate in the full range of local arts\, heritage\, and humanities. 
 Members also can be selected at large. The Coalition endeavors to encourag
 e support and participation in our culture in any way our combined resourc
 es can provide.
