DESCRIPTION:The Clatsop Animal Assistance Annual Holiday Party and Fundrais
 er is back again this year and it’s our 25th anniversary! Please join us
  Saturday\, December 14th\, from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the Fort George Love
 ll Showroom at 1483 Duane Street in downtown Astoria. All proceeds benefit
  the Clatsop County Animal Shelter dogs and cats.\nDress up your pets for 
 pictures with Santa\; bid on raffle prizes and silent auction items\; win 
 a night or two at a local resort or a day with a bar pilot. And don’t fo
 rget our fabulous bake sale\, with specialty cookies\, holiday favorites\,
  and treats for your pets.\nAbout CAA: Clatsop Animal Assistance\, also kn
 own as CAA\, is a 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to helping the Clatsop C
 ounty Animal Shelter’s homeless pets. As part of our mission “to impro
 ve the lives of homeless animals in Clatsop County by partnering with the 
 animal shelter and community to rescue\, rehabilitate\, and rehome” we p
 rovide funds to pay for veterinary care and spay/neuter fees for the shelt
 er animals as well as items not covered by the county’s shelter budget. 
 We promote the dogs and cats through advertising and promotional materials
  and by sponsoring adoption events. To help prevent pet overpopulation we 
 partner with the Seaside Spay &amp\; Neuter Thrift Shop in offering spay/n
 euter coupons to county residents.\n
