DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, November 16th the Friends of Seaside Public Libra
 ry will welcome classical guitarist Bruce Charles for an afternoon of musi
 c and stories. The show starts at 2:00pm in the Community Room.\nBruce beg
 an his guitar studies in California with composer Karl Stiska and continue
 d with guitarist John DeRose. From 1982 -1993 Bruce lived and worked in Pa
 ris\, continuing composition studies with Pierre Marietan. During this tim
 e\, he also attended lectures given by Pierre Boulez at the Collège de Fr
 ance. This worldwide background informs and infuses Bruce’s work today w
 hich will be on display as this concert.
