DESCRIPTION:Bring a classic favorite to life in this hands-on workshop wher
 e students will design and build their very own ceramic chia pet. The clas
 s will include demonstrations of coil and pinch techniques to help you scu
 lpt an animal of your choice\, focusing on building strong forms with plen
 ty of character.Students will learn how to texture and score the surface s
 o the finished pieces function just like traditional commercial chia pets.
  Finished sculptures will be fired to bisque temperature to allow water ab
 sorption and healthy seed growth. Each participant will also receive a sta
 rter pack of chia seeds to get growing at home.\nStudents will leave class
  with their pieces ready for firing\; finished chia pets will be available
  for pickup approximately 3–4 weeks later.Bring a classic favorite to li
