SUMMARY:Chia Pets Clay Play
DESCRIPTION:Bring a classic favorite to life in this hands-on workshop wher
 e students will design and build their very own ceramic chia pet. The clas
 s will include demonstrations of coil and pinch techniques to help you scu
 lpt an animal of your choice\, focusing on building strong forms with plen
 ty of character.  Students will learn how to texture and score the surfac
 e so the finished pieces function just like traditional commercial chia pe
 ts. Finished sculptures will be fired to bisque temperature to allow water
  absorption and healthy seed growth. Each participant will also receive a 
 starter pack of chia seeds to get growing at home.\nStudents will leave cl
 ass with their pieces ready for firing\; finished chia pets will be availa
 ble for pickup approximately 3–4 weeks later.  Bring a classic favorite
