 rtist who creates multi-layered soundscapes with voice\, cello and live lo
 oping technology.  Her eclectic musical palette includes French chansons\
 , rock\, funk\, pop\, avant-garde and even the Bohemian flair of the Velve
 t Underground.\nGillet’s career has won her awards of Offbeat Best of th
 e Beat\, Gambit Big Easy Awards\, featured artist at the New Orleans Jazz 
 Museum and has been nominated three times\, most recently in 2023\, as a r
 ising star in Downbeat Magazine's Critics Poll.\nShe has played/recorded w
 ith many musicians over the past 20 years\, including members of the Sun R
 a Arkestra\, Members of Morphine\, Marianne Faithful\, Cassandra Wilson\, 
 and Steve Earle. She opened up as a solo artist for Les Claypool at the Or
 pheum Theatre in New Orleans in 2003 and Jeff Tweedy at Lincoln Center in
