 tion of Gian Carlo Menotti’s enchanting one-act opera Amahl and the Nigh
 t Visitors. Performances will take place Friday\, January 9th at 7:00pm an
 d Sunday\, January 11th at 3:00pm. Tickets are now available at CascadiaCh
 amberOpera.org.\nComposed in 1951\, Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visito
 rs became the first opera ever written for American television\, instantly
  capturing the nation’s imagination. Menotti\, born in Italy and trained
  at Philadelphia’s Curtis Institute\, was celebrated for his gift at wea
 ving lyrical\, emotionally direct music with stories that speak to audienc
 es of all ages. Amahl remains his most cherished work—a testament to his
  belief in the transformative power of kindness\, humility\, and generosit
 y.\nThis fully staged\, visually rich Cascadia Chamber Opera production br
 ings Menotti’s score to life in all its warmth and color. In just under 
 one hour\, audiences will journey with young Amahl—a spirited boy with a
  vivid imagination—and his mother as they encounter three traveling king
 s following a miraculous star. Through humor\, wonder\, and a moment of pr
