The Brownsmead Flats are celebrating their 40th anniversary by playing at the Charlene Larsen Center of the Performing Arts on Saturday, May 11th at 2pm! Joining the stage will be special guests Robert Stevens, Jennifer Goodenberger, Denise Raihala, Randy Weese, Lulu Heavenrich, Ted Messing, and Dave Drury.

Locals and visitors alike are invited to the Charlene Larsen Center for the Performing Arts to enjoy the dulcet tones of Dan Sutherland, Ray Raihala, Ned Heavenrich, John Fenton, and Larry Moore on a variety of different instruments for a local musical experience like no other!
A hallmark of the Clatsop County music scene and voted “Best Band” by Coast Weekend Reader’s Choice, The Brownsmead Flats play tunes best described as “Crabgrass”, a folk/bluegrass style with a maritime flavor. With a strong focus on harmonies along with a variety of acoustic folk instruments, many of their songs are written to reflect on living in the Pacific Northwest.

The Charlene Larsen Center for the Performing Arts is located at 588 16th Street on the northeast corner of 16th & Franklin, Astoria, Oregon. Tickets are a suggested donation of $10 each, with all proceeds going towards maintaining and improving the Larsen Center for the Performing Arts.
