DESCRIPTION:Time Enough Books is proud to welcome three outstanding Pacific
  Northwest-based authors for an afternoon of readings and discussion.\nJan
 e Wong is the author of the memoir Meet Me Tonight in Atlantic City (Tin H
 ouse\, 2023). She also wrote two poetry collections: How to Not Be Afraid 
 of Everything (Alice James\, 2021) and Overpour (Action Books\, 2016). A K
 undiman fellow\, she is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize and fellowships 
 and residencies from the U.S. Fulbright Program\, Harvard's Woodberry Poet
 ry Room\, Artist Trust\, Hedgebrook\, UCross\, Loghaven\, the Barbara Demi
 ng Memorial Fund\, and others. An interdisciplinary artist as well\, she h
 as exhibited her poetry installations and performances at the Frye Art Mus
 eum\, Richmond Art Gallery\, and the Asian Art Museum. She grew up in a ta
 ke-out restaurant on the Jersey shore and is an Associate Professor at Wes
 tern Washington University.\nErin Malone is the author of Site of Disappea
 rance (Ornithopter Press\, 2023)\, finalist for the National Poetry Series
 \; Hover (Tebot Bach\, 2015)\; and a chapbook\, What Sound Does It Make (C
 oncrete Wolf\, 2008). Her work has been supported by grants and residencie
 s from Artist Trust\, Colorado Council on the Arts\, Monson Arts\, Ucross\
 , the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center\, and more. Erin has taught at the Univ
 ersity of Colorado in Colorado Springs\, the University of Washington\, an
 d through Seattle Arts &amp\; Lectures’ Writers in the Schools. The Edit
 or of Poetry Northwest from 2016-2020\, she now works as a bookseller on B
 ainbridge Island.\nShawn Wong is the author of two prize-winning novels\, 
 Homebase and American Knees\, and editor/co-editor of six Asian American a
 nd American multicultural literary anthologies including the pioneering an
 thology Aiiieeeee! An Anthology of Asian American Writers\, which celebrat
 es its 50th anniversary in 2024. His second novel\, American Knees was mad
 e into an award-winning film. He is currently Professor of English and the
  Byron and Alice Lockwood Professor in the Humanities at the University of
  Washington. Previously\, he served as the Director of the Creative Writin
 g Program\, Chair of the Department of English\, and Director of the Unive
 rsity Honors Program. In 2019\, he started “Shawn Wong Books\,” a book
  series with the University of Washington Press\, dedicated to publishing 
 both classic and new Asian American writing.\nThe event is free of charge\
