SUMMARY:Boats at the Barbey
DESCRIPTION:The fun starts at 11:00am on Saturday\, June 27th and runs unti
 l 3:00pm. During these four hours\, the pond will have powered vessels man
 euvering a course for observation and some hands-on driving time for some 
 lucky participants. Inside the Barbey Maritime Center there will be static
  displays with the builders to discuss the intricacies of model building a
 nd some tips for people wanting to get started. The Sam Johnson Woodworkin
 g Shop will also be open to learn about how the space is utilized with pro
 grams for adult learners.  There will also be crafts and activities for t
 he whole group to enjoy. From 12:30pm - 1:30pm any participant can operate
  the museum’s Springer Tugboat Fleet through a course.
