Thursday, July 9th, 1:00pm: Bird Talk and Walk at the Cannon Beach Library.
Author Maria Mudd Ruth will discuss her field guide and memoir “The Bird with Flaming Red Feet”, a lively and heartfelt natural history of the Pigeon Guillemot. Following the presentation, local birder Hannah Buschert will lead a walk to Haystack Rock to look for Pigeon Guillemots in the wild. Participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars. All ages are welcome. Books will be available for sale and signing.
