DESCRIPTION:Auditions for One Act Wonders.\nDecember 8th and 9th at 6:30pm.
 \nThis collection of one act plays will feature an ensemble cast of 6-8 ac
 tors. In addition to the rehearsal and performance period\, actors will ne
 ed to be available to participate in the American Association of Community
  Theatre’s one act competition circuit\, beginning with the state festiv
 al in late February or early March.\n’dentity Crisis by Christopher Dura
 ng\, directed by Ryan Hull\nRecovering from a nervous breakdown\, Jane is 
 nursed and nagged by her relentlessly cheerful mother\, and confused by he
 r oversexed brother—who keeps changing into her father\, her grandfather
  and her mother’s French lover. Eventually all (including Jane’s psych
 iatrist\, who undergoes a sex change operation and swaps places with his w
 ife) change characters again and become Jane herself—leaving her with no
  identity at all and pointing up the near impossibility of self-identifica
 tion in our uncertain times.\nConflict by Wade Bradford\, directed by Debo
 rah Jensen\nA very amusing explanation of how we crave stories in which th
 e protagonist experiences all kinds of hardship.\nOut at Sea by Slawomir M
 rozek\, directed by Karen Bain\nThree men starving on a life raft must det
 ermine which of them is to become dinner for the other two. One is thin\, 
 one is medium\, and one is fat. After the men employ a hilariously logical
  series of civil procedures to arrive at a solution\, guess which one has 
 to volunteer!\nWhat to expect:\nAuditions will consist of readings from th
 e script\, which are available upon request. No memorization is required i
 n advance.\nActors should arrive on time\, and bring a calendar of any con
 flicts between now and June 28th\, 2025. Headshots and resumes are welcome
 \, but not required. Rehearsals will be scheduled based on the actors' ava
 ilability and may include days\, evenings\, and weekends.\nIf you wish to
