DESCRIPTION:The Astoria Open Studios Tour is a free\, self-guided event\, J
 uly 25th and 26th\, that offers a rare opportunity to step inside the crea
 tive spaces of some of the region’s most talented artists. Now in its 16
 th year\, the tour celebrates the vibrant artistic community that makes As
 toria a cultural destination on the Oregon Coast. Visitors are invited to 
 explore working studios throughout Astoria and the surrounding area\, meet
 ing artists and learning about their creative processes. Set in the oldest
  American settlement west of the Rockies\, the tour provides a unique way 
 to experience Astoria’s rich history\, distinctive architecture\, and th
 riving arts scene. Visitors create their own route\, travel at their own p
 ace\, and get behind-the-scenes access to where art is made while connecti
 ng with the artists who call Astoria home.
