SUMMARY:An Afternoon of Chamber Music
DESCRIPTION:In gratitude for the enthusiastic to its past performances\, on
  October 4th the North Oregon Coast Symphony will present a classical musi
 c concert featuring small wind and string ensembles at St. Catherine Episc
 opal Church in Nehalem. Several small groups made up of current and former
  symphony members have put together a program of chamber music suited for 
 a small venue.\n"Queentet" - a string quartet plus clarinet will play move
 ments from Mozart's famous Clarinet Quintet\, K 581. A trio of flutes will
  present two contemporary pieces\, one entitled "Birds" that has the movem
 ents Birdsong\, Flight\, and The Journey. The FAB Piano Trio (violin\, cel
 lo\, piano) will perform the gentle second movement from Mendelssohn's fir
 st piano trio. The Astoria Tuba Quartet will round out the program with a 
 selection of pieces by composers ranging from the Baroque era Buxtehude to
  the local Norm Poulshock.\nThis concert is free but donations are encoura
 ged.
