SUMMARY:"Against Your Departure" Poetry Reading and Broadside Launch
DESCRIPTION:On April 19\, 2025\, the C.C. Stern Type Foundry will be hostin
 g a poetry reading and launch of a new letterpress broadside\, “Against 
 Your Departure\,” the sixth print in their Pacific Northwest Poets Laure
 ate Broadside series. The event will be held at the Longview Public Librar
 y from 4:00-5:30pm.\nThe new broadside is illustrated and printed by Jessi
 ca Spring (Springtide Press in Tacoma\, WA) and features a new poem by Was
 hington Poet Laureate Emerita Elizabeth Austen. The event\, which features
  a talk and reading by Elizabeth Austen\, is free and open to the public. 
 An exhibit of poetry broadsides from Peasandcues Press and the C.C. Stern 
 Type Foundry can be seen in the Longview Public Library's Koth Memorial Ga
 llery from April 3-30\, 2025.
