DESCRIPTION:The Lower Nehalem watershed is full of bird-lovers\, but how do
  we make our community and towns beloved by birds? These 'Shared Spaces' a
 re the focus of 2025's Migratory Bird Day Celebration.\nGather at Alder Cr
 eek Farm in Nehalem on Sunday\, May 25th for a day of guided bird walks\, 
 'Big Sit' observation station\, kid's activities and learning opportunitie
 s! Together\, we'll identify challenges birds face in our own community an
 d consider how to make the spaces we share with birds safer and more welco
 ming. There will be no shortage of fun for bird enthusiasts of all ages at
  this family-friendly event. Bring binoculars\, or borrow a pair of ours! 
 No prior birding experience is necessary.\nGuided bird walks will depart f
 rom the farm. One will begin at 10:00am\, and another at 11:30am\, followi
 ng two route options: one on flat terrain and one that traverses up a medi
 um slope to the upper riparian areas above Alder Creek.\nIf exploring over
  uneven ground isn't your thing\, join us at our 'Big Sit' station. Or vis
 it the interpretive tables hosted by Hoffman Center for the Arts\, Oregon 
 Parks &amp\; Recreation\, Seven Capes Bird Alliance\, Haystack Rock Awaren
 ess Program (HRAP)\, Bird Alliance of Oregon\, and the Wildlife Center of 
 the North Coast.\n
